Stop the Bleed Course Description

Severe bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable death in emergencies—but with the right training, anyone can take action and help save a life. Our Stop the Bleed course is designed to equip members of our community with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively during a bleeding emergency.

In this hands-on class, participants will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action using proven techniques. Topics covered include proper tourniquet application, wound packing, pressure bandaging, and other critical bleeding control methods. In addition to skill development, we will discuss situational awareness, personal safety, and how to work alongside arriving first responders.
