Station 115

Located on Galm Road, Station 115 serves as the headquarters of District 7 Fire Rescue and is home to the department’s administrative staff, frontline crews, and a variety of emergency response apparatus. District 7 has operated from this property since 2007, originally utilizing a small farmhouse before the current station was officially opened in 2022.

Known as “The Doghouse,” Station 115 honors the station’s history and the many four-legged members who have become part of the District 7 family over the years.

Station 116

Located on North Highway 16, Station 116 serves the northern and more rural portions of District 7’s response area. The station was relocated from its original location near Chimney Creek to its current property farther north on Highway 16 when the new facility officially opened in 2019.

Known as “The Ranch,” Station 116’s nickname reflects its Hill Country setting, expansive property, and the rural character of the community it serves. Surrounded by open land and neighboring cattle, The Ranch has developed an identity that celebrates the heritage and character of this part of District 7.
